Is ProofMi really free?

Yes — ProofMi is free during our launch period. We want feedback from real users before we add paid tiers. Early users will stay free longer than anyone who joins later.

Do guests need to install the app?

No. You send your guest a link. They open it in any browser, see the inspection photos, and co-sign right there. No app, no account, no friction.

How is this different from a timestamp app like Timemark?

Timestamp apps print a date on a photo you hand them — including a photo you edited or pulled from your camera roll. ProofMi forces live in-app capture. Every photo is locked at the moment it's taken, stored in a way that can't be changed later, and can be verified by anyone. It's an independent third party locking the photo, not a self-dated stamp.

Can someone upload an AI-generated photo?

No. ProofMi only accepts photos taken live inside the app. You cannot import from your camera roll. Because every photo is captured and locked in the same instant, there is no window to swap in a fake.

What if the guest won't co-sign?

That's fine. A guest refusing to sign is itself a signal — and the inspection record still stands with your photos, the time, the GPS location, and the guest's view of the link. You still have strong documentation for a dispute.

Which rental platforms does ProofMi work with?

Any platform where documentation matters: Airbnb, VRBO, Turo, apartments, and traditional landlord-tenant leases. ProofMi creates a record you own — the platform you use for booking doesn't affect how it works.

What about guest privacy?

Photos are stored securely and only visible to people with the inspection link. Guest names and emails are only collected if the guest chooses to enter them when co-signing. We don't sell data.

Can I manage more than one property?

Yes. You can create as many properties as you need, each with its own inspection history. Property managers with 10+ units use ProofMi to keep all evidence in one place, organized by property.
